Eric has completed the upgrade from PHPBB2 to SMF forums. SMF is way faster, has more features, is more updated and better supported by it’s community. It’s being installed and updated as I post this, it will be ready to go soon. Very exciting!

This week, Eric upgraded the webserver. New software allows the fancy stuffs to happen on this site. The new server is FAR faster than the old one. Pages load very quickly, searches happen instantly. Eric will upgrade the forum from PHPBB2 to SMF this weekend.
URLs on this site are text. They are the site URL plus the year posted, and the name of the post. Simple!! Try out the search function. The old site had no search at all. This new search can find articles before you are even done typing! The beautiful thing about this system is that it’s easy for me to add and change things quickly from any computer, and I can even assign new authors to write articles!

Take a quick look at the Relaying your Headlights page - I’ve designed new diagrams that make it much easier to understand how to do it. This project should be within reach of 90% of people! I also included diagrams showing the connector polarity of sealed beams vs H4 bulbs.
